Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool. Immediate relief. Just picked up today, brought me immediate relief. I travel for work quite often and can bring this out anywhere, in my carry-on or check-in. The two orange balls are a little larger than the other larger-style canes out there which is great for not digging in too much, it's the oatmeals' right temperature, so to say. Can easily fit into any gym bag out there if you need to bring to the gym. Sturdy, with a little flex/give to it. I read another who mentioned that they broke their second one... if one is doing that, they ARE using it incorrectly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works well - until it snaps This is a great tool to reach those hard-to-get trigger points, but they need to be made stronger. I've just snapped my second one.

How would I use this product for releasing Trigger Points for Gluteus Maximus muscle knots? I have multiple painful TP’s on each side. What would be the most effective way for me to use this product,(manipulate it) for my particular concern? Thanks!

Asked by: Ck2bhealthy
The AcuCurve Cane is designed to relieve tight and sore muscle knots, specifically in hard-to-reach areas of the neck, back and shoulders. It is not designed for the Gluteus Maximus, therefore we cannot provide you with any tips unfortunately.

How hard should you press ?

Asked by: Cornelius
The AcuCurve can be used on several different muscle groups, all of which may require different pressure. The recommendation is to use your best judgement because there should be some discomfort, but there should not be excruciating pain. In fact, too much pain may make conditions worse. Studies have shown that, on a scale of 1-10, applying pressure up to 6-8 will have the best benefit.
